BPFAC Goals for the 2007-08 Academic Year

1. Identify faculty concerns related to budget, planning and/or facilities.

2. Represent the faculty senate in the UAA process of overseeing budget, planning and

facilities.

3. Advocate for faculty to improve deficiencies related to budget, planning and/or facilities.

4. Inform and involve the faculty on matters relating to budget, planning and facilities.

4. Respond to budget, planning and/or facilities questions from the Faculty Senate.

BPFAC Goals for the 2006-07 Academic Year

1. Be a liaison between administration and the faculty in the area of budget, facilities and planning.

2. Seek to increase the awareness and involvement of the faculty with budget, facilities and planning issues.

BPFAC Goals for the 2005-06 Academic Year

1. Host open forums on budget, facilities and planning issues.

2. Increase the faculty understanding of performance metrics.

3. Follow the budget development from statewide to the Governor. Work to make the budget available to faculty as it is developed.

BPFAC Goals for the 2004-05 Academic Year

1. Represent the faculty to the chancellor and to the Faculty Alliance regarding the UAA budget.

Strategy: Monitor the activities of the Planning and Budget Advisory Council

2. Represent the faculty to the Chancellor and to the Faculty Alliance regarding UAA facilities.

Strategy: Monitor the activities of the University Facilities Board.

3. Represent the faculty to the Chancellor and to the Faculty Alliance regarding Plans and Appointments.
